Whether in-person or virtual, she’s prepared to chat (and illustrate!) about a variety of topics for different grade levels, such as:

  • Traditional Chinese painting
  • Developing intuition
  • Nurturing inspiration
  • Three Harmonious Teachings of Chinese philosophy
  • Artistic style and creative process

KEYNOTES AND TED-STYLE TALKS

Regina’s life has taken her around the world, from growing up in an urban jungle of Houston, Texas to living in the highlands of Peru and navigating the homeland of her Taiwanese parents. Her non-traditional path to writing and illustration is a source of humor, surprise, and inspiration to anyone looking to try new things and opening their world to new possibilities.

She has given talks to audiences on topics including:

  • Developing her artistic style and creative process
  • Building bridges across cultures and generations
  • Embracing change at any age

PANELS AND ARMCHAIR INTERVIEWS

Both considerate and personable, Regina does well on one-on-one discussions, as well as panels with multiple participants. She engages naturally with the moderator and provides her perspective within the context of the dialogue with other participants.

MODERATOR

If you’re looking for a speaker to moderate a discussion or literary event, Regina can be available to elevate your discussion and present your guests in the most interesting light for your attendees.

For events in conversation discussing another author’s book, Regina requires an advance reader copy and sufficient time to complete and reflect on the work prior to scheduling.
